Climbing...

Today we returned to Matlock Bath, and took the cable car up to the Heights of Abraham. The sights and entertainments at the summit could have been tacky, but were surprisingly fresh and interesting. Troglo-DI-te overcame her fear of the dark and ventured into the lead mines, brave girl! And there was a lot on the history of the area (named after the Battle of Quebec, to attract the 18th century tourists)

And then we visited the aquarium in one of the old spa buildings specifically to see the AXOLOTLS because who in their right mind would ever pass up the chance to see AXOLOTLS?Baca selengkapnya
