Cachoeira do Sul Day 17

Today Cristiano took me to a typical Gaucho farm south east of Santa Maria. There, mainly horses, cattle and sheep are being raised. This place fostered my impression of Brasil, especially the south, O Pampa (the Pampas). Huge farms, endless views and almost no people. I was deeply impressed. The Cabanha quatro C also has entries on google, successful auctions of horses are done at this place.
Riesige Farmen, fast unendliche Weiten und weitgehenst unbewohnt, das ist die Pampa. Cristiano hatte die Absicht, mir das Gaucho-Leben in dieser Gegend zu zeigen, genauer auf einer Farm südöstlich von Santa Maria. Es war ein extrem beeindruckender Ausflug, der mein Bild von Brasilien nochmals verstärkt hat. Die Farm dort (Cabanha quatroC) hat auch Einträge im Internet, da sie dort sehr erfolgreiche Pferdeauktionen durchführen.Read more
