Panama City

Panama City was a place of wild contrasts: gleaming skyscrapers and scruffy neighbourhoods, jungle and industrial canal, American fast food chains and Caribbean flair. It was fascinating! We spent a lot of time there on travel logistics, but also took the chance to explore different neighborhoods, including the vibrant Cinco de Mayo. There one could spend hours chatting with locals and people watching. The waterfront parkway and old colonial area of Casco Viejo were also beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to check out the canal up close. Next time!

Panama-Stadt war ein Ort der wilden Kontraste: glänzende Wolkenkratzer und schäbige Viertel, Dschungel und Industriekanal, amerikanische Fastfood-Ketten und karibisches Flair. Es war faszinierend! Wir verbrachten dort viel Zeit mit der Reiselogistik, nutzten aber auch die Gelegenheit, verschiedene Viertel zu erkunden, darunter das pulsierende Cinco de Mayo. Dort konnte man stundenlang mit den Einheimischen plaudern und Leute beobachten. Die Uferpromenade und das alte Kolonialviertel Casco Viejo waren ebenfalls wunderschön.
