Pai ➡️ Chiang Rai

Travelled from Pai to Chaing Rai today, there is no direct route, so first had to get a 3hr minibus from Pai to Chaing Mai, then a 4hr coach to Chiang Rai. When I got to Chiang Mai I realised I had booked my coach for the wrong date (whoops), but luckily I could buy a cheaper and earlier one from the bus station counter!
After dropping my bags off at the hostel in Chiang Rai I immediately went to get food as all I eaten was a 7/11 cheese toastie and crisps. Made the mistake of eating soupy noodles with chopsticks in a white t-shirt... that shirt is now splattered with Khao Soi.
