    Boab Tree with inscription from HMC Mermaid 1820, when it was damaged and taking on water so the claimed the area, fixed the ship, and sailed back to Sydney.

    The boab was a source of water, food, and shelter.

    Also a bower nest built by the male bower bird. The more impressive he can make it, the more chance to attract a mate - shells, feathers, berries, leaves, anything he can find.
