    Nelson & the Tasman Coastline

    March 14 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

Arrived in Nelson, pretty little town, then did a day tour of the Abel Tasman coastline including Kaiteriteri, Totaranui & Golden Bay. Travelled by bus, then ferry along the coast, the bus picked us up at Totaranui, then drove along 12 klms of windy, dirt road to the Waikoropupu Springs. The water was amazingly clear. It is the clearest freshwater water in the world - 75 metres visibility. Pure water is 83 metres. It is a Maori treasure and sacred place.

Then onto Golden Bay air field to fly back along the coastline to see it from a different angle. Such a pretty place.
