Pisa

With Molly's help, we jumped on a train and headed to Pisa....(our expectations were low as we had been told by many people that apart from the tower there is not much there). We found a bustling town square with market stalls.... (Matt was SO excited). We bought a princess ring for Molly and a pair of pants.....before buying cheese, bagettes and chocolate ready for a Pisa picnic. A stroll up medieval streets took us to the tower and cathedral.....it was fun watching everyone making fools of themselves taking photos, before we joined them. A picnic on the one bit of grass you are allowed to walk on gave us the energy for a tour of the cathedral, baptismal tower and surrounding crypts - where 1 maths nerd (Matt) found another math nerd (Fibernacci)'s crypt.
