With time to spare we walked around town, to explore. There is zero doubt what the local economy was as the smell of fish was prominent everywhere we went. With eager eyes I left Allie behind and decided to start the climb up Heimaklettur, the highest peak on the island. A nerve racking hike with multiple ladders, ropes and chains to hold onto, and minimal protection from the elements. Only made it half way due to time restraints, but the views were nonetheless amazing.Leer más
