The ruins

This place have me the serious heebie-jeebies. Underneath the Castle, they unearthed ruins and put them on display for us tourists. But enthusiastic you go down into them, it's damp, smells damp, and feels damp. There are dark corners and tunnels which felt that there were definitely things lurking in the dark as you walked by. And they had wells lit from below so you could see just how deep they go (and nothing to stop you or your camera from falling into it besides a flimsy little guard rail).

To make it even creeper, they had a whole exhibit on the women who were imprisoned in the castle due to accusations of witchcraft. They had all these hands on exhibits involving wax dolls, toe nails, curse making, and crystal balls. It made the whole area feel sinister and I couldn't wait to get out!もっと詳しく
