• The Black Diamond

    20 mei, Denemarken ⋅ ☀️ 70 °F

This must be the first nice day of the year because it seems like every single person in Copenhagen came out by the water, took off their shirts and focused on getting some serious vitamin d.

This sunbathing area happened to also hold "the second little mermaid". Yup me, this sculptures expression looked a little desperate, like she knew she's not the biggest tourist attraction but she wanted you to judge her on her own merits. Since I've heard over and over how not worth seeing the #1 real little mermaid sculpture is, I'm not going to go out of my way to see it. I'm perfectly happy with TLM2 and think she was just dandy.

To continue on with my museum explorations, I went into The Black Diamond museum to see their photography exhibit. I do love me photography. This was a cool exhibit showcasing everything from fashion to family portraits to wartime journalism to porn to story telling through photo.

And as I was leaving, I couldn't help but snap a Pic of the bike area. There are thousands of bikes in the city. Special bike lanes. Bikes that have a kid carrier behind our in front of the main rider. Delivery bikes. Bikes with flowers in the baskets. Thousands and thousands.

    Pretty neat stuff.
