Gairloch (over the sea to Skye)

The second stop on our family tour - at least 20 years since Madeleine was last here! Heather and Bob were kind enough to take in two rather smelly campers, let us dry our VERY damp tent and fed us some lovely (REAL) food. Clearly we looked weather beaten as they very generously offered to let us stay the night (cheers Tom for the loan of your room!). We didn't see Skye unfortunately from Gairloch, but we drove the coastal road to Applecross and looked out over the sea to Skye! It might be becoming a cliché, but we found the lure of Skye as romantic as ever, so instead of camping in Applecross (which we thought was a bit touristy) we decided to keep going over to Skye!Baca lagi
