Day 23: Pontremoli - rest day

I don't have a great deal to report today as I've done very little and done my best to rest as much as possible. Also, it rained today; which encouraged me to stay indoors. Pontremoli is a lovely medieval township with a castle on the hillside and where the Torrente Verde joins the Fiume Magra. The township name literally means "trembling bridge" as, apparently, the original bridge here did shake. I did try to visit the museum inside the castle, but as I arrived, so did a bunch of rowdy school children, and I decided to give it a miss.Baca lagi
