Your Camino

I heard that you get the Camino you are given, not the Camino you want. I didn't understant that until today.

MatkaajaYou are so darn tough & stubborn with such a high pain threshold- I know that this pain must be really bad. Sounds like you are being strategic & prioritizing what matters most to you. Hang in there! 💜💙💜
MatkaajaYou to sis! Been thinking about you tons and wish we could talk. You are as tough as my feet right now! Hang in there. Sending you a long distance hug every day!!
MatkaajaTake the time your body needs - advise from someone who is reminded every day;). One should never force long duration routes. Anyone one can choose to go, but it takes more skill to know when not to. Linda and I did not initially listen to her body on our cross country cycle tour, but learned it was way better to work on recovery and alter plans. I hope you weigh flexibility highly as one’s bodily needs are a factor as great as terrain or weather. Here’s to a quick recovery and high spirits. You’ve got this!
MatkaajaThanks, Cindy suggested taking a bus to Santiago and finishing it next year but I want to see how I feel after a couple days of rest and foot massage. I will not compromise my feet to finish 😀
