Day 2

Our day trip to Haleakala was a tremendous display of Cindy's driving ability up to 10,000 feet on switchbacks. We ate lunch at the Visitor Center at 7000 feet. Mom amazed us by walking on a real trail to get to the picnic table. Perhaps it was the 65 degrees and shining sun that inspired her! After our picnic lunch, we continued going up and we were soon above the clouds! You could see Hawaii, Lanai, and Molokai from the top.
Afterwards, Mom made spaghetti for dinner while Cari snorkeled and Dianna watched the sunset. Another perfect day in paradise.Okumaya devam et
