Day 5

Today we drove up to Lahaina. There are many places you cannot get to and physical check points to keep people out. We stopped at a mall and spent some money and ate at a food truck to make a small difference. We were surprised at how little has been done in over a year but I suppose it takes a long time for insurance and permits. The news said the first family moved in just this week!

We drove up to Kapalua looking for a good snorkeling beach but the tides had already turned around and the waves were too high. It was a fun day with beautiful views.Leggi altro
