Last day and heading home

Before we left the weather report said rain for every day we were in Leavenworth. Luckily, they were wrong! It rained in the mountains but I watched the sunrise every morning. I took a last walk through Enchantment Park (still looking for bears). I enjoyed the peaceful river, solitary trail, morning shadows, and bird songs. Finally, I walked through the butterfly gardens and said goodbye to the goslings. I wish we stayed longer. Time to pack up and stop by Sultan Cafe for lunch on the way home.Læs mere
