Bingsu and new friends SAVE the night

Weeeeeew! We had yummy scrummy Bingsu at HoduKing! Michael got the Oreo and I had the strawberry. Both were delish. Love shaved ice, it's so light and delicate and I love the way it melts on your mouth.

But better still, we ended up making new pals! A group came in very chatty and chill, and we just organically congregated together to chat about our travels, lives and all sorts of things. What began as a quick dessert run ended up being a 2 hour hang out full of laughs, crazy stories, and pure joy! Our new pals are... Amber, Faye, Gabby, Jan, and Xian Long. Amber, Faye and Gabby are British, Jan is German, and Xian Long is Singaporean. They are all heading up North tomorrow for the Ha Giang loop, and we are off to Ninh Binh.

A really great twist to save the day after such shitty dinner hahaha! Love it!Read more
