Pula / city walking tour

We had a wonderful walking tour of Pula this morning. We learned so much about the many historical layers (like lasagne!) of this beautiful city - from pre-Roman Histri to the Romans to the Slavs (Croats) the Venetians to the Austro-Hungarians to the Italians/fascists to Yugoslavia to Hrvatska/Croatia. And then we went to a beautiful, if rocky, beach where we enjoyed the cold, clear water. Such a rich history and a beautiful country!Weiterlesen
