Miramare Castle in Trieste; visited the Jewish Community Museum; had a drink/snack on the main square (best chocolate sundae EVER!) and saw police cadet marching band. Had a great 36 hours in Trieste!
Slovenia: Postojna Cave; Ljubljana

Drove back into Slovenia and went to Postojna Cave and then arrived in Ljubljana. Had a delish dinner at a local restaurant and enjoyed the lively energy of this beautiful city.

An amazing nature walk to the Gorge through some beautiful country. But first we were approached by some crying kids who we reunited with their parents - none of whom spoke English.

ПутешественникLake Bled was the first place Charlie and I went to on our Slovenia/Croatia trip in 2006. Such a story book place. We loved it. It looks like it is still mostly unspoiled and that you are having great weather. It was pouring rain most of the time we were there but was still pretty magical.
