    Atherton Tablelands

    August 30, 2021 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

Went up to the Historic Village Herberton. Travelled via the " the long & winding " Gilles Range Rd. Of which a 19 kilometre stretch contains no less than 263 turns rising over 800 metres. Village itself was very interesting with many of the buildings relocated from the original Herberton township as well as nearby and some not so near stations. Well worth a visitRead more

TravelerKevin and myself went there some years ago, it was very interesting then and we enjoyed going down memory lane from our childhood especially the old machinery
