Limoges to Tours

In Limoges, famous for its porcelain and design we visited the Musée de Beaux Arts and saw some impressive enamel work and other lovely design. The Benedict trainstation is i itself also just a wonderful building.
From Limoges we continued to Tours where we found another great jazz-food-bar place La Strapontin where we had a great meal while listening to really good live jazztrio playing in the next room. Le Strapontin can be recommended.
Unfortunately we ran into an issue with our autocamper, the company had forgotten to let us know that the Spanish gas system wasn't compatible with the French so heating while not driving as well as hot water and gas for cooking was no longer available 🙁. So we had to find hotel accommodation for the night.Read more
