Late departure from Witney towards Birmingham. We drive on the Roman road "Fosse Way" through the uniquely beautiful Cotswolds, where the autumn colors are gradually appearing. The weather is friendly, and the autumn sun gives the landscape and the yellow limestone houses a warm glow. Their 17th-century architecture is loosely based on the Tudor style and is also called "storybook style." I'm enchanted by the fairy-tale world! Pub names remind Rupert of sayings from his childhood, such as "Finders - keepers, losers - weepers."

Our destination is Leamington Spa. We take a break by the roadside and have cheese sandwiches and crackers with jam along with a warming cup of tea. Enough energy gained, and we continue to our overnight spot on the edge of Jephson Park.

Dinner tonight is an enhanced Thai curry from a packet. Making room for English groceries!

Später Aufbruch von Witney Richtung Birmingham. Wir fahren auf der Römerstraße "Fosse Way" durch die einzigartig schönen Cotswolds, wo sich allmählich Herbstfarben zeigen. Das Wetter ist freundlich, und die Herbstsonne verleiht der Landschaft und den gelben Kalkstein Häusern einen warmen Glanz. Ihre Architektur des 17. Jahrhunderts ist lose an den Tudorstil angelehnt und wird auch "Bilderbuchstil" genannt. Ich bin begeistert von der Märchenwelt! Unser Etappenziel ist Leamington Spa. Wir machen Pause am Straßenrand und essen Käsebrote und Crackers mit Marmelade zu einer wärmenden Tasse Tee. Genug Energie getankt, und weiter geht's zum Übernachtungsziel am Rand des Jephson Parks.
Abendessen ist heute ein gepimptes Thai Curry aus der Tüte. Platz schaffen für englische Lebensmittel!Read more
