Anettes Idee: Fliegen geht schneller! 😉

Bei 2 Grad Celsius und strahlendem Sonnenschein durchqueren wir die Lombardei, während ihr es euch bei 8°c und trübem Wetter in euren Häusern gemütlich macht 🕯️☕📺📖🛋️
Rupert fährt gemütlich mit einer Durchschnitts- geschwindigkeit von 88 km/h. Trotz der anfänglichen Verzögerungen werden wir-wenn alles gut läuft-unsere Fähre nach Malta pünktlich erreichen. Sie verlässt Sizilien am Mittwoch um 8:15 Uhr.
Gerade haben wir die Grenze zur Emilia Romagna passiert. Mittlerweile sind es vier Grad draußen. Und um einiges wärmer im Wohnmobil 😄

Von der Autobahn bei Bologna grüßen wir heute ganz besonders unsere Töchter Kati, Kathrin, Jil und Sammi (Reihenfolge nach Geburtsjahr)❣️Und natürlich alle anderen, die uns folgen 🤗
Jetzt stehen wir auf einem ganz besonderen Parkplatz in dem kleinen Bergdorf Montopoli die Sabina kurz vor Rom. Von unserem Platz aus haben wir einen spektakulären Blick über das weite Tal.
Nach einer erholsamen Nacht heben wir früh wieder ab 😉

We're currently cruising through Lombardy! It's a chilly 2°C here, but the sun is shining brightly. Meanwhile, you all are probably getting cozy at home with 8°C and cloudy skies 🕯️☕📺📖🛋️.
Rupert is driving along nicely at a relaxed average speed of 88 km/h. Despite a few early delays, if all goes well, we should reach our ferry to Malta right on time. It departs from Sicily on Wednesday at 8:15 AM!
We just crossed the border into Emilia-Romagna. The temperature outside has warmed up a tiny bit to 4°C and it's a lot warmer inside the motorhome, thank goodness! 😄

We send extra special greetings from the highway near Bologna today to our daughters: Kati, Kathrin, Jil and Sammi (in order of birth year)❣️ And, of course, a big hello to everyone else who's following our trip 🤗.
Right now, we're parked up at a really special spot in the small hill village of Montopoli di Sabina, just before Rome. We have a spectacular view over the wide valley from where we are!
After a refreshing night's sleep, we're taking off bright and early again! 😉Read more
