• Flowers of Kojanup

    October 3 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 19 °C

Decided to come down to Kojanup for a Bloom festival event tomorrow.
Swapped out Penny the beagle for my friend Cathrine before heading down the Albany highway. Not sure when I last came down here.
I’ve been having back issues but a physio visit this morning and the fact that the most comfortable place for me when having back pain is in the car I’ve arrived in reasonable shape.
We stopped in Williams for lunch and arrived in Kojanup early afternoon.
We planned out 3 activities but soon dropped one and started a self guided wildflower drive. It said allow one hour plus stops. It didn’t mention how long we’d spend at the stops though.
The guide could do with an update as we were searching for roads that don’t exist anymore or were much further along than indicated. We nearly drove up someone’s drive thinking it could be a road. Fortunately we continued down the road to find the correct turning.
We saw lots of flowers. The only ones I could confidently identify were the leschenaultia and cat’s paw.
