• Lucinda’s Everlastings

    Ieri, Australia ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

I heard Jen Edgerton-Warbaton speak at the Chapman Valley Show about setting up and running Lucinda’s Everlastings. After that the open day as part of the Bloom 2026 festival appeared in my social media. The timing was good so I decided to come down to Kojanup with Cathrine.
It was a beautiful day for it and well set up. One paddock that was sowen this year was thick with everlastings and had some benches set up in it for photos, we walked around that before making our way to the maze. This was set up in an area of self sowen everlastings. While we didn’t make it to the other side of the maze we did both pick a lovely bunch of everlastings.
We were there for nearly two hours.
We then took a convoluted route including some dirt roads to Harvey. Whenever I’m down south I’ll work in a visit to Harvey on the way back to visit Harvey Cheese if possible.
Picked some some lovely cheeses and back to Perth to exchange Cathrine for Penny, wash the car to get all the bugs off then home.
    A lovely weekend away.
