We hit the ground running today! With a Rick Steves audio guide download we headed out into a hot day in Rome! Ticked off a lot in 12kms and then headed back to our hotel for a siesta before dinner.

I was feeling a bit seedy so missed the tour of Doges palace and met the others at Cafe Florian, the oldest cafe in Europe! The rain set in for the afternoon so we stayed in and relaxed.
