Rainy day here so opted for a trip into town. It's kind of a long drive and a near miss through the windscreen with yellow billed kite carrying a snake in its claws.

Stopped at Lookout Cafe for the spectacular view and where they do adrenaline sports like bridge swings, bunji, flying fox and white water rafting.

Then a stroll through Elephant walk market where we met this talented rasta... 😉

Then burgers and fries at 3 Monkeys for lunch, a trip to the art gallery and then the long trip back to the lodge where traffic came to a halt as we waited for a troupe of Ellies to move off the road 🐘

Thought we would take advantage of a couple's massage on the banks of the river...and opt for a new experience. Let's just say there was a difference between expectation and reality. The promise of 'healing sticks' to 'let go' and 'release' the build up of stress and negativity etc over the last 2 years was appealing. Turns out it was 75 mins of being somewhat pummeled by a rolling pin all over your body 😂 I left flattened and with a good 4years taken out of me!

Needed drinks badly after that,so despite the rain, we opted for a game drive and got bitten by horse flies but rewarded with some great, wet, G&Ts !Читать далее
