Winkarlin Drive

Leaving Foster to the south is a shortcut of sorts heading towards Wilson's Promontory National Park. The road turns to a reasonable level gravel and eventually rejoins the main road.

Along this road was a track leading towards the sea. Eventually a turn to the left. Winkarlin drive is recently signed as a no through road. At the end of this road... Is nothing!

Heading back to the turn we noticed a "walk in" track. This leads out to the sea along the bay edge where we saw many black swans. This was a very picturesque area and worth the walk in.Read more
