Magnetic Island, Queensland

Magnetic Island is only a few kilometres off the coast at Townsville. A short 20minute ferry ride and you are teleported to this island paradise. There are lots of walks, eating places, coffee shops, pubs and numerous walks.

There are a few shipwrecks to check out. For some there is swimming, snorkelling and numerous water activities. If you are bored it would be your own fault. Our day passed quite quickly and soon we were on the return journey to Townsville.Read more
