Lake Manchester

Lake Manchester was constructed between 1912-1916 With a capacity of 20.000 regaltres Lake Machester provided the Brisbane area with a safe and reliable supply of water until 1988 It now acts as an emergency water supply in times of drought and was brought back on-line in 2005. It supplies up to 40 megates of water a day to the Brisbane River where it is tracted at Mt Crosby.
