Wappa Dam and Falls

A short drive from Yanda is rewarded with a beautiful spot at the dam. A short walking track or drive in the car gets a great view of the falls.

Jandowie and on to Chinchilla

We stopped in Jandowie and then proceeded on to Chinchilla. We arrived after some driving into the sun and a bit of fording flood roads.
Chinchilla Weir

The sunset trip to Chinchilla Weir was rewarded with a nice sunset. The water level is high with water flowing over the weir. This area had a few campers set up to stay the night.
Round Waterhole

Round waterhole does not seem to actually be round. It is a nice spot with lots of birds.
Old Man Lagoon

OML is a day use area with a primitive barbecue. You need to bring your own wood. We used a gas cooker. It's a beautiful spot with bird life.
