Valle Crusis Abbey. A Cistercian abbey. We had only just arrived in Wales and already so beautiful.Dates back to 1201.We were only stopping for a toilet break but what a find.Eliseo's family tree was written on the pillar. It is thought he is buried on the mound. The pillar of Eliseg has been standing for more than 1000 years on a mound with his family tree.Narrow two winding roads in Wales.Cute town of Ruthin. We had coffee, cake, figured digital parking and bought groceries.Gp's old house.Lots of beautiful, well preserved Tudor style houses in Ruthin, Wales. Our accommodation. Celyn Hall.Beautiful fir trees. They feel like real life plastic trees. So soft and lovely to touch. Our accommodation. Celyn Hall, Celyn y Coed. Coed means woods. Such a magnificent old manor house. The walk through the property with the flooding river.Roman bridge in the distance.
