Ninh Binh 🏞️ - Lebensmittelvergiftung 🤮

Und jetzt hat sie zugeschlagen die Lebensmittelvergiftung. 🥹 Sehr wahrscheinlich in meinem heiss geliebten Papayasalat 😭😭😭😭😭
Zum Glück war es nicht die schlimmste Lebensmittelvergiftung, aber wir haben einen Tag im Bett verbracht. Zum Glück hat sich das Hostel Büsi Lu zu mir gelegt und so laut geschnürrelet, dass Nicole es im Bett oberhalb gehört hat 😸🐈
Die nächsten Mahlzeiten waren geprägt von weissem Reis mit reichlich Soyasauce....
Am zweiten Tag war ich fit genug für auf die angedachte Tour und Nicole hat mich bestärkt teilzunehmen.
Ninh Binh ist sooo schön und mystisch mit den Hügeln und Flüssen. Das konnte ich auf der kurzen Velotour zu der früheren Hauptstadt Hoa Lu (11 Jahrhundert).
Gefolgt von einer Tour auf dem Fluss Trang an in einem Bambusboot. Wir sind durch die hellen, dunklen und Ba Giot Höhlen getukerlt.
Obwohl es das grösste Buffet hatte, habe ich mich an meine Schohnkost gehalten... 😂
Danach sind wir auf den Aussichtspunkt Hang Mua gewandert. Das waren 486 Stufen und da merkte ich, dass ich noch nicht ganz fit bin 😅 Auf dem Gipfel ist ein kleiner Tempel und ein langer Drachen erbaut worde. Der Drache war so schön gebaut! 🐉

Ninh Binh ist so ein wundervoller Ort und obwohl ich krank war, war es der erste Ort, wo ich mir vorstellen konnte eine Weile zu wohnen 😄💛

And now the food poisoning has struck. 🥹 Most likely in my much-loved papaya salad 😭😭😭😭😭
Luckily it wasn't the worst food poisoning, but we spent a day in bed. Luckily the hostel chick Lu lay down with me and cried so loudly that Nicole heard it in the bed above 😸🐈
The next few meals were characterised by white rice with plenty of soy sauce....
On the second day, I was fit enough for the planned tour and Nicole encouraged me to take part.
Ninh Binh is sooo beautiful and mystical with its hills and rivers. I was able to experience this on the short bike tour to the former capital Hoa Lu (11th century).
Followed by a tour on the river Trang an in a bamboo boat. We travelled through the light, dark and Ba Giot caves.
Even though it had the biggest buffet, I stuck to my shoat diet.... 😂
We then hiked up to the Hang Mua viewpoint. That was 486 steps and I realised that I'm not quite fit yet 😅 There's a small temple and a long dragon at the top. The dragon was so beautifully built! 🐉

Ninh Binh is such a wonderful place and although I was ill, it was the first place I could imagine staying for a while 😄💛
