    Ross

    December 21, 2021 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

We haven't ventured into this beautiful village as yet! Founded in 1821, Ross is a historic village with a penal colony past and was named by Governor Lachlan Macquarie after the seat of Ross in the British parliament, which was held by his friend, H Buchanan of Loch Lomond.

I am hoping to see the historic sandstone bridge built in 1836 which crosses the Macquarie River soon!

Here are some pictures of our digs for the night and me!!
