Eumundi Markets

First stop of the day — and the trip — was the Eumundi Markets for a wander and some breakfast. What a stunning day too, not a cloud in sight.

We heard a rumour that one of the stalls had Australia’s best vanilla slice. Bold claim… but no passionfruit on top, so it’s already disqualified in my book.

Tried a Malaysian Rendang Beef and Satay Chicken pie — absolutely packed with flavour. We also picked up a few infused salts, spice rubs and black garlic to pimp up our meals back in Newcastle over the next few weeks. Always nice leaving a market with snacks and a plan.Les mer
