This was the other picnic we had planned for the weekend — a little hidden-away winery that felt like a bit of a secret. We were early, so we kicked things off with a wine tasting. Couldn’t resist leaning into our sweet tooth... their Moscato and Tawny were both hits, and I really liked the Kingfisher Viognier.

The picnic was just us, tucked away in the shade near the water. Cold meats and cheese, a seriously good brownie with candied walnuts, and a little sweets platter to finish it off. We even had a couple of bold little birdy friends keeping us company — clearly regulars. Super relaxed, quiet, and personal. And as a bonus, we got to keep the wine glasses from the tasting, which felt like a nice touch.
