Dia 42. Fonfria to Samos via Tricastela

Awake as usual, coffee in bed, substantial breakfast (to keep body and soul together as they used to say in German) and out at 9h for a brisk walk into the freezing cold. Arrived in Tricastela after just 2 hours' walking and 9 km. Long stretches steeply downhill when I slow down considerably in order to spare my poor knees - they are not poor now and I want to keep them that way. End of pause in Tricastela.Read more
