Out of Eldà

I have been walking all around this town for hours trying to find my way to the next stop Sax. There are too many missing signs, blocked and overgrown paths that mean you need to keep reversing your steps this has added at least two hours to today's plan. A second 8 hour walking day of over 20 miles through very ugly countryside means I have decided to stop. Currently sat in a cold caravan with water dripping through the roof after the mother of all thunder storms. I have just purchased my train ticket back to Alicate for tomorrow lunchtime. I have been looking forward to this walk for two years, so disappointing.Leggi altro
