    Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur

    Our initial plan was to fly to Java island (Indonesia) directly. But, since we had to change our flight somewhere, we decided to stay 2 days in Kuala Lumpur. The city was different from what we have seen so far. Finally we had a good public transportation but therefore the food was not as good as in our trip so far 🙃

    One note here: its so weird to us that many religious or non religious tourist places are dirty and full with trash. Of course many tourists throw them away but it seems that there is also a social acceptance for it. It just weird and sad seeing beautiful (and even religious) places in such conditions…    Okumaya devam et

    East Java - Surabaya & Madakaripura

    We have arrived in Surabaya which is the 2nd largest city in Indonesia. From here on the next day we booked a tour and drove to the Bromo area. Out first stop was a waterfall. In the evening we drove to the mountain area and spent the afternoon/evening at our homestay. Temperature was a bit lower and the atmosphere very relaxing 😌Okumaya devam et

    East Java - Mt. Bromo

    Today, our tour started at 2:30 AM 😴. We watched the sunrise at 5:00 AM and then drove to crater of an active volcano 🌋 Luckily we had the opportunity to hike up and walk around there. The surrounding area of the volcano was covered with a lot of sand (from the ashes) and lava from the previous eruptions. We had a great time! 😊Okumaya devam et

    East Java - Mt. Ijen

    Today our tour started at 12:15AM 😴😴😴 After sleeping like 3 hours at the previous day we were quite tired 😅 we drove to Mt. Ijen with a car and started our hike at 2:00AM. It took about 3 hours to reach the peak and then go into the crater. Inside the crater we were wearing gas masks because the smoke of volcano contained a lot of sulfur. At times we were standing in the direct smoke and we had to close our eyes (they were burning hard) and could breath heavily.
    This area is famous for the sulfur miners. Its was hard to experience that these people are working in these conditions almost every day.    Okumaya devam et

    Bali - Ubud

    Our first stop in Bali was Ubud. A touristy and crowded city, known for its rice fields, waterfalls and yoga studios… Narrow streets with a lot of western food. Sometimes we got the feeling that the whole area was one big traffic jam (true almost for the whole island). In that case you have to use your creativity and any „obstacle“ which you find (sidewalks, etc..) in order to move forward with the motorcycle 😅Between the crowded photo spots for instagrammers and some really nice chilled places, we got some mixed but in overall nice experience. On the last day we could manufacture some jewellery (ring) for Reka.Okumaya devam et

    Nusa Penida

    We took a boat from Bali and moved to Nusa Penida island. Unfortunately we have only stayed 2 days on this island, although it has a lot of dive sites and interesting beaches. In many places the currents of the ocean were strong and the waves big so that swimming or snorkelling alone was not possible. It took about two hours to ride around the island with a scooter.Okumaya devam et
