Tropical Cyclone

Quite exciting evening. Island battened down for torrential rain and wind.
We had to boil water and fill containers or whatever we could find because the water supply is run by electricity. Once that goes it’s bedlam.
Wind was fierce all night plus rain. All safe and tucked up in our units.
Some parts of the Island lost power. Not us.
Huge waves at Kingston. Hurled huge rocks up and over the car park.Waves covered the huge winch used to bring cargo onto the shore. Czytaj więcej
