Quilotoa Loop - 3 Day hike

The Quilotoa Loop is a popular track to a beautiful volcano lake 2 hours south of Quito. You can do this hike in different ways between a path just around the lagoon or several days trough little villages in the mountains to end and the crater.
We did a three day hike and stayed in two beautiful mountain hostels. In total we hiked 37km and 2.700m in altitude. Most of the time we were very lucky with the weather. On the last day we finally reached the view point for the lake with its amazing green/ blue color.Leggi altro
