Koh Samui

For the first time during our travels we really realized what economical effects Covid can have. Samui is one of the most popular spots for tourists but right now it feels like a ghost island. The island offers an infrastructure made for thousands of visitors to make sure they have a great time and enjoy themselves. Wherever you are you can see offers for shooting ranches, snake farms, jet skis and many other activities, but almost everything is not operating at the moment. A huge number of restaurants, shops and bars are not just closed, they look scruffy and almost destroyed.

On the other side we were able to relax at the beautiful beaches without the regular crowds. Besides that we visited some temples, viewpoints and waterfalls.Leggi altro
