Mckenzie River and Unity

Our plan was to find a national forest site on the McKenzie River and spend 3 nights fishing and staying cool from the 95 degree weather…well that didn’t happen. No sites! We stayed at an rv park that was pretty awful. They did have a hot spring fed mineral pool which was nice. We took zero pictures of the beautiful River.

We decided to head east and spent the night at the Unity Reservoir. It was really nice. Hot but beautiful.

I did take a photo of the mountain we could see from our camp site but I took it from the Safeway parking lot in Redmond. 🤣
