BC to Wilderness SP

Day one. We drove to the top of the lower peninsula. A nice beach site. We watched a storm come in over the lake!
L. Michigan to L. Superior

We woke up on Lake Michigan and slept next to Lake Superior. R&C went back to the Porkies! This campground fits our needs better. We also tried out the new gazebo and the girls loved it!
Amnicon Falls SP WI

A quick hop to the other side of L. Superior. I nice hike off the campground. A real chill vibe here.
North Minnakota

A drive day. We are on the Red River that divides Grand Forks between MN and ND. Driving the 2 is so much better than 94 or 90! The river has a nice paved trail! We have a huge lilac bush on our siteRead more
West ND: Lewis & Clark SP

A cool spot that is a bit similar to Teddy Roosevelt NP and the Badlands. (Same Longitude). A quick overnight with a dog park! Score!
Fort Peck!

We came back! Almost exactly 2 years apart. This time on a much more secluded spot.
Fort Peck Day 2.

Today was a no drive day. We relaxed ALL DAY! Then at midnight lightening struck so close to us we all jumped up scared to death! That big sky can bring a real bang!
Writing on Stone PP Alberta

Yesterday was horrible. We woke up to a lightning strike extremely close to us, almost got stuck in a muddy mess of a road going uphill (Jeff was awesome navigating through that mess without gettingRead more

North Cascades NP

We spent three days hiding in the cedars at NCNP. It was wonderful!
Staircase in Olympic NP

Our week in Olympic started on the east side. We hung out on the Skokomish River next to Lake Cushman. Jeff caught a bull troat and I did a solo hike in bear country!
Lake Crescent in Olympic NP

Our next spot in Olympic was north at Lake Crescent. A beautiful lake.
Mora and HOH, Olympic NP

We made it to the west side of the park! Today we hiked around the HOH rainforest and settled in at Mora for a PNW evening rain.
Ruby Beach, Olympic NP

We got to all the waterways in Olympic! Rivers, inland lakes and the Pacific Ocean. Ruby was a glimpse of what week four will be on the Oregon coast! Lucy’s first time tasting salt water. 🤣
Mt Rainier!

We spent 3 days playing in Mt. Rainier and already know we need to come back. We entered through Nisqually and had two blue bird days! It’s was wonderful. By far one of my favorite campsites.
Part 2: PNW Coast. Fort Stevens SP

We started our journey in Oregon today! Ugh, a parking lot of a state park but the shipwreck on the ocean is a cool walk from our site. We plan to adventure into Seaside and Astoria while we are here.
Seaside and Cannon Beach

We adventured into the touristy Cannon Beach. It’s a lot to deal with and not our favorite thing but the beach is huge to walk the dogs! We had a great IPA at the Seaside Brewery. A nice chill day.
Foggy Ocean and Astoria

A PNW day! Foggy ocean walk and a fun port town to enjoy some fresh fish and a great brewery. A wonderful third day to the start of the Oregon coast.
Central Coast: Beverly Beach

This is a great state park! Easy access to the beach but still nestled in the woods. So much beach off leash time!
Southern Coast: Harris Beach

We came back. It’s just as beautiful as we remembered! Two days on the beach. ❤️
Sue meg (Patrick’s Point)

We didn’t leave the campsite yesterday and it was so wonderful. Because most CA state parks don’t allow dogs on the trails, Jeff and I did multiple solo hikes. We both played at Agate Beach and weRead more
