Same sun different set

Last night the military police came and knocked on our door! First time in Sicily, second time ever. They were very nice and didn't threaten us with a fine or anything, but just went over the fact we are in red zone and to move from place to place is forbidden... Most surprisingly they said we were absolutely fine to camp here (definitely not a designated place to camp) as long as we didn't leave any litter. Then they just checked our van for illegal immigrants or illegal covid social visitors (who knows which) checked our passports and gave us a very friendly goodbye! 😅 They were the best friends we've made in about 2 weeks, I wish they could have come in for a cuppa!
