Custer State Park, SD.

Long but wonderously beautiful day, traveling back and forth through Custer SP, never dreaming SD could be this lovely . All psyched up to see wildlife, esp buffalo, sorry, bison, and not one did we see. Yes, three antelope and a pride of prairie dogs... nothing else.
All this only spoilt by the visit to Mt. Rushmore. Not to sound like Her Majesty Queen Victoria, but: "... we are not amused". nuff on that issue.
Long day, but back in Lake Fraudaix campsite. Planning some sketching at the lake tomorrow, if the weather holds.
