Madrid Part 2

Three hour tour this morning around the La Latina, Sol and Opera districts. Angela, the guide, was excellent. After the tour we had fried calamari bread rolls for lunch, which is a Madrid speciality - yum! Then visited the El Rastro markets, which were pretty much the same as markets the world over.
Back to the hotel for a cup of coffee and to rest our feet, then walked 2kms to a large shopping centre with a roof top terrace. Had an ice cream, followed by a glass of Rioja wine.Good views over Madrid. Tonight we are meeting our friends at 9 pm to go out for tapas appetisers and then on to our 10.30 dinner reservation.Baca lagi
