Potsdam - Sanssouci palace

In the morning, we had breakfast and went to nearby city Potsdam, where a beautiful summer palace of King of Prussia, Frederick the Great is located. The famous Sanssouci palace. It had a unique exuberant Rococo style. Especially memorable was the Grotto hall, which was all covered in stunning shells and fossils. King Frederick was an interesting character, a lover of art and books, he also loved dogs.
