Warwick and a little more Stratford

Today we decided to make a day trip to nearby Warwick - a town with the castle and with the VocieMap. It was a beautiful walk through medieval center where we learned that a lot of action in medieval times revolved around varios colorful crimes and many many executions. We didn’t have time to go inside the castle, but it certainly looked very impressive from the outside.

We returned to Stratford and I finished the VoiceMap about Shakespeare with a lovely walk along the river with beautiful views. In the evening, we scored the tickets to the sold out Cherry Orchard play with Helen Hunt in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Despite lukewarm critic reviews, we absolutely loved it. The theater was very intimate and was a replica of the original Shakespearean theater, and the production was amazing.Read more
