Gifu Station

Gifu is the capital of the prefecture of the same name. It played an important role in Japan's history, as it is located in the middle of the country. Gifu Castle on top of Mt Kinka and the surrounding area was used by various warlords, including Oda Nobunaga as base of operations during the Sengoku period (1467-1615).
